Introducing you to Kaléydo Croatia

The Kaléydo Airlines Group is proud to announce the opening of its first base outside of Italy at Zagreb Pleso Airport, in Croatia.

The new base will be operative since the 1st of June 2012 and all flights originating from our new Hub, will be operated by our new branch named Kaléydo Croatia, which has received all the due certifications from local authorities in the last few days. Intially the airline will fly with two recentely acquired  Airbus 320-200 to London Heathrow in the United Kingdom, Paris Charles de Gaulle in France, Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino in Italy.

During the summer season, Kaléydo Croatia is expected to receive several new Airbus A320-200 and an Airbus A330-200, which will deployed on new routes. By the end of the summer season , the airline will have a fleet of some 15 aircraft, which will serve several new destinations out of Zagreb. The additional routes will include destinations in the Russian Federation, Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Israel as well as a direct flights to New York, a key destination for both citizens of the United States and Croatia. The tpassenger traffic between Croatia and the United States saw a rapid and constant increase in recent years, due to the fact that nowadays more and more American tourists visit Croatia.

Ouw new base at Zagreb will increase even more the presence of our group in the Balkans, a key market for Kaléydo Airlines, and in which we are already a market leader. Furthermore, this expansion will increase the frequency of flights and capacity on several routes which will be opetared by both Kaléydo Airlines out of Milan and Kaléydo Croatia, out of Zagreb.
